Fresh off the U.S. Women’s National Team’s exciting run to hoist their third World Cup, U.S. Soccer announced two more matches for their victory tour, pitting the USWNT against Brazil twice in October.
The U.S. will face Brazil at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Wednesday, Oct. 21 before switching coasts for the latter game of the series at the Orlando Citrus Bowl in Orlando Sunday, Oct. 25.
The games are the fifth and sixth friendlies announced as part of the 2015 Women’s World Cup champions’ 10-match tour to celebrate their triumph in Canada.
The Americans’ victory tour kicks off with two games against Costa Rica in August and two games against World Cup quarterfinalists Australia in September.
What do you expect from the two friendlies? What kind of team do you expect head coach Jill Ellis to call in?
